Mission Statement
Providing children affected by hardship, unforgettable race-car experiences that capture the thrill of the track, and supporting passionate, skilled drivers with the tools needed to accelerate their future.
Our Focus
100% OF DONOR FUNDS GO TO THE MISSION
Drivers 4 Hope is a 501 (c)(3). Founded in 2025 by a dedicated team of individuals from across the United States who share a deep connection to motorsports—and an even deeper passion for giving back. United by the belief that every child deserves moments of joy, inspiration, and hope, our mission is to create unforgettable, life-changing experiences for kids and families who need it most.
Through the power of motorsports we focus on children 17 years and younger who are facing life-threatening illnesses or life-changing hardships that have disrupted a normal childhood. At Drivers 4 Hope, these kids don’t just watch from the sidelines—they step into the driver’s seat of a real race car on a real race track.
Alongside professional drivers, they experience the adrenaline, focus, and peace that comes from pushing limits and trusting themselves. These ride-along experiences are designed to inspire confidence, courage, and a renewed sense of possibility.
Through our partnership with Dream Racing in Las Vegas, we are able to offer a world-class experience supported by professional drivers, advanced data centers, racing simulators, and state-of-the-art facilities. Drivers 4 Hope is about more than speed and horsepower. Every straightaway, every corner, and every lap becomes a lesson—about resilience, determination, and overcoming adversity. Just like on the track, life presents challenges, and we believe these experiences can help guide children toward hope, strength, and a belief in what’s possible long after the checkered flag waves.
The Mission
Is to bridge the gap between curious youth and the adrenaline-fueled world of professional motorsports. We facilitate immersive experiences that allow children to meet real race car drivers and witness the dedication required to compete at the highest levels.
Through co-piloting rides, car meet events and pit crew interactions; we transform the racetrack into a platform for mentorship and confidence-building. We believe that the thrill of the track serves as a powerful catalyst to inspire hope, socialization and ambition in every participant. Ultimately, we are dedicated to fueling the dreams of the next generation, proving to them that no finish line is out of reach.

Founder/Co-Founder
TJ Hofhines has a lifelong passion for motorsports and the outdoors but even more important to him, is giving back to kids and families. TJ and his wife, Hillary (Vice President), co-founded Drivers 4 Hope with the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to dream big, no matter the challenges they face.
TJ and Hillary are proud parents of 4 daughters. Even though they live in Idaho, racing is a big part of the family. Three of their girls compete in soccer and go-kart racing, while their oldest has found her passion in theater. Through raising their children and running multiple outdoor business’s, TJ came to recognize the importance of balance—between work, racing and most importantly, family.
Like many parents, TJ found himself caught in the daily grind of providing for his family. In 2023, he made a pivotal decision to refocus his priorities, placing family and time with his children at the center of his life. That shift not only strengthened his family but also opened his eyes to a larger purpose.
After several seasons in karting, TJ noticed a growing need to help other kids gain access to motorsports—especially those facing medical or life-altering hardships. What began as an idea quickly turned into a mission. Together, TJ and Hillary created Drivers 4 Hope to inspire children to never give up, to believe in themselves, and to pursue their dreams—even when limitations exist.
Today, TJ continues to race in multiple motorsports series and proudly shares the mission of Drivers 4 Hope both on and off the track. Through his passion, leadership, and commitment to family, TJ hopes to show kids that hope, perseverance, and dreams are always worth chasing.
Executive Director
Born in Bulgaria and moved to Oakland CA at the age of 6 where his parents received scholarships to UCLA Angelo discovered his predisposition for being ultra-competitive leading to a long stint in team sports, mainly league soccer and several trips to state finals.
A passion for cars and all things automotive from a young age, those two components eventually transitioned into a pursuit in motorsports resulting in an extensive racing background in various professional races across North America at some of the most prestigious tracks and venues. Naturally, this opened a career path in the automotive field as well, working in the motorsports departments for large OEM’s like Audi and Lamborghini, managing their professional customer racing programs in North America over the last ten years.
Having been around the block a few times, the ability to give back to the community that gave me such amazing opportunities is an exciting prospect. Our hope is a shared vision through outreach programs that inspire underprivileged youth and young adults to go after their dreams.

Development Director
Carole’s dedication to charitable work and nonprofit leadership spans decades, with a strong emphasis on supporting children, seniors, and families in need. As Mrs. Wyoming from 1999 to 2000, she served as a high-profile spokesperson for Abused Children, raising awareness and securing donations for domestic violence prevention and victims of childhood sexual abuse. Through public appearances across Wyoming’s Chambers of Commerce and businesses, she built community partnerships that directly advanced fundraising and education initiatives for vulnerable children and their families.
As a previous Star Valley Hospital Board Director for Intermountain Health Care, she established comprehensive outreach programs, organized the Festival of Trees with multiple nonprofit partners, and coordinated health fairs and pioneering bike safety events that introduced helmet-ticket initiatives. These efforts improved public health resources and safety programs, particularly benefiting children while strengthening hospital-community ties.
After stepping away from hospice and home health, Carole switched gears and became a United Flight Attendant based in Denver. Every holiday season she was chosen for Fantasy Flights — sweet charters that turned the plane into Santa’s North Pole. Watching those brave medically ill kids’ eyes sparkle with joy, even on hard days, was the most heartwarming part of her flying career.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Carole is the proud mother of three successful sons—including TJ—and nine grandchildren. All of her sons share her deeply giving spirit, continuing the family legacy of compassion and community service that has guided her lifelong commitment to lifting up children, seniors, and veterans through strategic nonprofit leadership.
